House Surgeon / Equine Veterinary Intern

Three Counties Equine Hospital is recruiting two new or recent veterinary graduates for 18-month fixed-term internships, starting in January and February 2027. The hospital is at Stratford Bridge, Ripple, near Tewkesbury. Applications close on 16 October 2026.

Work under senior clinicians in equine medicine and surgery. Rotations cover internal medicine, surgery, lameness and out-of-hours care. Duties include inpatient and emergency care, adult and neonatal intensive care, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, surgery and reproductive work. The shared rota is one in four.

Benefits include mentoring, journal clubs, CPD and research support, 6.6 weeks of holiday, paid memberships and VDS cover. Furnished accommodation is provided with a £300 monthly deduction.
