Animal Care Associate — Part Time

Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary is hiring an Animal Care Associate to help care for rescued animals in the Stockton area of California’s San Joaquin Valley, including birds, goats, and pigs.

Requirements

At least two years of professional animal experience, strong verbal communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to organize tasks independently. The work requires lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and spending extended periods standing, walking, or sitting. A commitment to veganism and animal protection is required. Smoking is not permitted on site.

Schedule and pay

Part-time shifts from midday into early evening; $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience. Exact weekly hours, employment terms, and the street address must be confirmed with the employer.
