Director of Product Quality & Hard Lines

The Foggy Dog is hiring a Director of Product Quality & Hard Lines in San Francisco, California.

Lead product safety, testing and quality across The Foggy Dog assortment and manage development of hardware, plastics and technical wear. Establish standards, oversee supplier audits, investigate defects and guide products from concept through launch.

You need at least seven years in consumer product quality, compliance or development, knowledge of safety standards, factory audit experience and experience managing overseas suppliers. Root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration are important. Travel, including overseas, may be required.

Terms

Full-time. Salary: $160,000–$185,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, matching 401(k), paid leave and a product allowance. Hybrid, with two office days weekly. Confirm employment terms, weekly hours and the office address.
