Dog Trainer — Trainee or Experienced

Rooted Dog Training seeks a coachable trainee or experienced trainer in Upland, California.

Work includes shadowing the head trainer, supporting lessons, coaching owners, maintaining training records and keeping facilities clean. Applicants need reliable transportation, communication skills, and openness to balanced training using crates, e-collars and prong collars.

Pay and schedule

$19–$40/hour, depending on experience; approximately 30–40 hours weekly across three or four long weekday shifts, plus a monthly weekend pack walk. Paid training is offered. Progression after a 6–12-month probation/training period depends on performance. Confirm employment terms, full-time/part-time classification, exact schedule and street address with the employer.
