Senior Technical Manager

Mackle Petfoods is recruiting a Senior Technical Manager in Moy, Northern Ireland, to lead food safety, quality and compliance across its wet pet food manufacturing business.

Lead the technical team, maintain quality and HACCP systems, manage audits and corrective actions, support regulatory compliance and build a strong quality culture. Work with customers, regulators and internal teams on product and process standards.

You need a relevant food science or technology degree, HACCP Level 4, experience maintaining BRCGS accreditation and at least five years of management experience in technical, quality or food manufacturing work. Team leadership, audit experience and strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Permanent, full-time role. Benefits include private medical insurance, a pension, 22 days’ annual leave plus nine statutory closure days and enhanced family leave. Salary depends on experience; confirm the amount and weekly hours with the employer.
